We’re kicking off 2020 with an aggressive mind-set around the Bear Claw Events, Inc. office. Along with setting high benchmarks for growth, we’re heading out to big industry events to expand our networks. It’s hard to think of a better way to start a new year than to learn from some of the sharpest minds in our business. We’re heading to a huge networking seminar in Dallas, and a gathering of top leaders in Newport, California.
Any time we’re surrounded by other successful people from our industry, we keep a few key networking tactics in mind. The best place to start is to listen more than we talk. We make our newest connections feel like the only people in the room, because we listen with the intent to understand. Rather than just waiting for our chance to respond, we do our best to figure out where other people are coming from, and what we can learn from them.
On a related note, we also ask a lot of open-ended questions as we build up our Bear Claw Events, Inc. contact lists. The more we allow our new connections to speak, the better chance we have of finding common ground.
